autumn trends

The autumn/winter 2022-2023 fashion shows gave us a taste of the makeup trends worth to trying out. Some of them we have seen before, some have returned after years of absence, and some are completely fresh. One thing is certain autumn-winter make up 2022-2023 will be bold, full of vibrant colours, graphic lines and glittery accents. Check out our list below for a bit of added inspiration!

Bold lips

Red lipsticks always make a comeback in autumn and winter. What’s new is the shade of the lipstick. From raspberry, blood red, vampy purple and even slightly orange there are few exciting options when it comes painting your lips this autumn. Try our NOTE Mineral Semi Matte Lipstick 03 Gipsy that delivers high-impact colour with extra hydration.

Glitter: rhinestones à la Euphoria

The HBO series “Euphoria”continues to impact our makeup routines and boosts our creativity. Glittering face gems around the eyes, are one of the main autumn/winter trends. You can use them as sparkling eye catcher, applying only in the inner or outer corner of the eye.

Blue eyes

One of the most common colours at the fashion shows were shades of blue – from blue to navy. You can use them as eyeshadows, eyeliners or combined with other colours. Try our NOTE Elegant Matte Dipliner available in blue color that will help you achieve the perfect blue eyes look. It has a soft felt-tip applicator, that glides on smoothly creating sharp and defined lines with just one sweep.

Futuristic Eye Makeup Style

Glowing skin

This trend is all about achieving luminous, youthful, radiant-looking skin that looks like it is glowing from within. You can emphasize it by using highlighters. When using highlighters our skin looks healthier and younger. You can apply it under the eyebrows, on the temples, the tip of the nose and the back of the zygomatic bone. The creamy-fluid formula of our NOTE Drop Highlighter applies easily and evenly blurring small imperfections and keeping skin hydrated.

Natural make up

The natural almost “no makeup look” is still trending. To make it, use our NOTE BB Cream instead of foundation. It evens out your skin tone while hydrating and giving you a natural finish. Additionally, use a neutral-coloured eyeshadow, mascara and moisturising lipstick and you’re set.

Overblushed

Bright, pink and luminous blushes are out this autumn/winter to brighten up the complexion and make-up.  But don’t apply it only on cheeks.  Use it on temples, bridge of the nose and even on the eyelids. The more the better! Reach for a blush, preferably in a pink, peach or coral shade such as NOTE Luminous Silk Compact Blusher 06 Sandy Pink or 04 Soft Peach. Apply a small amount to brush, then tap off excess product. Brush from cheekbone to temple with a firm, sweeping motion.

Creative Graphic Liner

This season lines should be painted with a thin eyeliner, but not along the lash line, but above the socket of the eye, or the crease. Use our Note Ultra Black Eyeliner to create this look. It has an ultra-thin, flexible tip, which facilitates application and makes painting a line extremely easy. A concentrated, fast-drying formula that adheres easily to the eyelid, leaves a deep black line with a slightly glossy finish. The eyeliner creates precise and intense black lines in one stroke.
