Mascara Application Tips

NOTE’s TIP

Taking the tube of mascara, swirl the wand around to coat the bristles with the bulk properly. Do not pump the wand into the tube repeatedly. This pushes air into the tube and makes the mascara clumpy, and it dries out faster;

  1. Starting at the roots, apply the mascara through zig-zag movements. Repeat until desired effect is achieved. Be careful to not apply too many coats because it can begin to flake. When the preference is a mascara with a curved brush, press the curved down side against the lash root for added lift and curl;
  2. While applying the mascara, always look down ( but do not close the eyes );
  3. Gentle sweep the mascara over lower lashes to provide eyes a wide-open look and finish the mascara application. Since the lower lashes tend to be sparser and smaller, the mascara can be switched to a wand that has smaller bristles.

To make eyes look bigger use a regular mascara on the top lashes and then, to open up the eyes, just in the very center of the lashes (above the iris), use a volumizing mascara, but apply it by holding the wand vertically, so it just coats, thickens and accents those middle lashes;

For maximizing the performance of any mascara use our NOTE Boosting Lash Primer. Formulated with Widelash(TM) to help promoting hair growth, providing fortifying effect, increasing in eyelash thickness and volume for longer, fuller and stronger lashes.
